Hair and Makeup Booking Process

We recommend that you book your wedding hair and makeup early because we have limited openings.

Saturdays in particular get booked very quickly.

To book your wedding hair and makeup services, we require a 50% non-refundable retainer and signed contract. That in turn secures a padded time block for you and your bridal party on your wedding day.

DO I NEED A WEDDING MAKEUP AND HAIR TRIAL?

We highly recommend a hair and makeup trial before your big day! This is the perfect opportunity to test your dream look and make sure it’s exactly what you envision.

Here’s what a bridal trial helps with:
✨ Choosing the right foundation finish—matte or dewy?
✨ Defining your ideal brow shape and style.
✨ Finding the perfect false lashes for your eye shape.
✨ Selecting the best curl style for your hair—classic, beachy, or something in between.
✨ Deciding on your hair part and how you want the front styled (we’ll explore different options!).
✨ Building a connection with your stylist, so you feel like you have a built-in beauty bestie on your wedding day!

Wedding Hair & Make-up FAQ's

Do You Provide On-Location Makeup & Hair Services?

We provide a fully mobile beauty experience, bringing luxury and a stress-free atmosphere directly to you on your wedding day.

Is There a Minimum to Book?

During peak season (April–October), we require a minimum number of services:

Saturday Weddings: Minimum of 6 services
Friday & Sunday Weddings: Minimum of 4 services
(Services can be a mix of hair & makeup.)

If you’re booking last-minute and we have availability, we may make an exception. You don’t need to finalize your service count until 90 days out, but if the minimum isn’t met, the remaining balance will still be due.

What Are Your Travel Fees?

Travel starts at $100 and includes up to 30 miles from our St. Louis County location (covers setup, breakdown, mileage, gas, and time). Beyond 30 miles, a travel fee of $1.50 per mile applies. If travel exceeds 2 hours, a hotel stay may be required.

How Much Time Should We Set Aside for Services?

We allow:

40 minutes per service for bridal party members
1 hour per service for the bride

We want your morning to be relaxed and seamless—no rushing, no stress!

Do You Have a Team, or Do You Work Alone?

For larger parties, I bring in additional stylists to keep everything running smoothly. A $100 fee per assistant (plus travel) will be added based on the number of services and timing needs.

Do I Need a Trial Run?

I highly recommend it! A trial ensures we’re on the same page and allows us to perfect your dream bridal look. Most of my brides secure their date with me first (based on my reviews and portfolio), then schedule their trial a couple of months before the big day.

Can I Do a Trial Before Booking?

Although I do not recommend it, you’re welcome to book a trial before reserving your date, but please note that your wedding date will NOT be held without a signed contract and retainer. Most brides book first and do their trial later, knowing they’re in good hands!

What Happens at the Trial Run?

Trials take place at my studio, where we’ll go over your vision, test your chosen makeup and hairstyle, and make any necessary adjustments. You’ll also receive prep tips to ensure you get the most out of your trial. This is your time to wear the look, see how it holds up, and feel 100% confident for your wedding day!
